Flag¶

The flag includes the Armenian Wheel of Eternity which dates back to 3,000 BC, originating back to the Kura–Araxes culture. The 8-pointed star also dates back to ancient times and has been used in various temples, structures, and carvings since then. It often symbolizes the ancient Armenian fascination with geometric shapes. The cross in the backdrop symbolizes Christianity.
